Position: Records Officer (1)
Millennium SACCO 2012 Ltd was established on the 13/12/2012 under Ankole Diocese. The main objective is to improve the people’s livelihoods by getting affordable loans and having a good savings culture in our society. Currently, MS 2012 Ltd has eight branches that operate in greater Mbarara. The branches are: Mbarara branch, Ibanda Branch, Kabuyanda Branch, Kinoni Branch, Rugaaga Branch, BSU Branch, Ngarama Branch, and Ntinda-Kampala Branch.
Millennium SACCO 2012 Ltd would like to recruit competent persons to fill in the vacant positions as below:
REQUIRED COMPETENCES
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Records Management, Information Science, Library Science, or any related field.
- Must have a credit in Mathematics and English at O’level.
- Proficient in managing, storing, and retrieving physical and digital records in compliance with organizational policies and legal requirements.
- Should be skilled in cataloging, indexing, and classification of documents for easy accessibility.
- Strong ability to manage large volumes of records systematically and efficiently.
- Proven track record of creating and maintaining an organized filing system.
- Ability to resolve discrepancies in records effectively.
- Ability to implement and adhere to data protection protocols to ensure the confidentiality and security of members' information.
- Ability to conduct periodic audits to ensure compliance.
- High level of accuracy in maintaining records and identifying inconsistencies.
- Certification in Records Management or related fields will be an added advantage.
