Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning and Implementation
• Familiarize with the new concepts and approach of the LIFT to ensure project implementation aligns with the objectives of LIFT.
• Work with the Project Assistants-Child Wellbeing (12-17 years) and the LIFT Facilitators (Volunteers) to develop schedules for daily, weekly, and special event activities for adolescents (12-17 years old), their caregivers and community members under the LIFT project in all the LIFT centers.
• Ensure that activities/services are delivered on time, on budget and in compliance with donor regulations.
• Coordinate with other Project Officers-Child Wellbeing (0-6 years, 6-12 years and Caregivers Group) to ensure linkage between activities and implementation of intergenerational activities across age groups.
• Support the LIFT Project Manager to develop work plans and follow up with field teams regularly to ensure that activities are on track and the approaches are in line with the LIFT framework.
• Ensure that adolescents in addition to their caregivers and target community members are engaged in and actively contribute to the project implementation, through effective mobilization, relationships building and outreach strategies. Consider participants as partners instead of beneficiaries.
• Provide regular operations and implementation updates on project progress and challenges to allow for timely interventions and corrective actions by management.
• Ensure that project interventions are effectively documented before, during and after the activities.
• Ensure effective referral pathways are in place for appropriate responses and follow-up for children and adolescents who require specialized and other services.
• Ensure regular communication with the Project Manager and Technical Leads to integrate appropriate technical priorities in programme design/implementation.
