General Summary
The Graduate Trainee at IDI-Ntinda Warehouse will support the warehouse team in managing the inventory, logistics, and distribution of medical supplies and other materials. This position offers an excellent opportunity for recent graduates to gain hands-on experience in warehouse operations, supply chain management, and logistics in a dynamic healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Inventory Management: Assist in monitoring and maintaining accurate records of warehouse inventory, including the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods.
• Data Entry: Ensure timely and accurate data entry into inventory management systems, including updating stock levels and tracking movements.
• Quality Control: Participate in inspecting and verifying received goods to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
• Logistics Support: Assist in coordinating the transportation and delivery of goods to various locations, ensuring timely and safe distribution.
• Warehouse Organization: Contribute to maintaining an organized and clean warehouse environment, adhering to safety and health regulations.
• Stock Reconciliation: Support periodic stock counts and reconcile any discrepancies to ensure accuracy in inventory records.
• Reporting: Prepare and submit regular reports on inventory status, stock movements, and any issues encountered.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with the warehouse and other departments to support the supply chain processes.
• Training and Development: Participate in training programs to develop skills in warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics.
