Job Details:
The Protection Coordinator will be responsible for the provision of technical support to and building the capacity of local partners to effectively deliver GBV and child protection services to refugees and new arrivals in Northern and West Nile locations of Uganda. This role requires strong knowledge, skills and experience in the areas of gender based violence, sexual gender-based violence, child protection, a deep understanding of child protection case management as well as other protection issues affecting refugees and new arrivals.
Major Roles and Responsibilities;
• Effective delivery of Gender-Based Violence Component by local partners • High quality delivery of Child Protection and CP Case Management Component
• Partners’ adherence to GBV & CP quality standards.
• Strengthen Local Partner Institutional Capacity to Deliver GBV and CP Services including CP and GBV case management
• Coordination and reporting
