Job Details:

Main objective
• The role holder is responsible for execution of the affiliate’s Retail Business Performance Strategy through Retail Performance analysis, reporting and management across the different business units.

Duties & Responsibilities
• Responsible for HSEQ Performance Monitoring & Reporting.
• Responsible for Retail Performance analysis and management.
• Implementation of the Retail & Marketing Management System.
• The role holder is responsible for Dealer selection and recruitment.
• Responsible for the execution the affiliate’s Retail Business Performance Strategy.
• Responsible for Retail Performance analysis, reporting and management across the different business units by following up on department performance Vs set targets, OPEX cost control, loss mitigation on network, credit management and handling of station complaints.
• Responsible for Pricing, Profitability Analysis and ensure retail Optimization.
• Ensure the Retail Work Stream delivers on its commitment to the Leap Project.
• Ensure that Quality & Standards are maintained at the service stations in terms of record management (quality checks, station procedures) and proper waste management.
• Liaise with the different Heads of Sections to study the market to understand and/or identify Changes in Clients requirements/needs and Competitor initiatives with the view of adopting the Company’s Route to Market to meet these.
• Coordinate the affiliates efforts on innovation within the Retail Department with Key focus on Digitalization of processes.
• Responsible for ensuring that a central data base of talents for stations and a permanent pool of dealers is ready to take over stations.
• Facilitate recruitment process for both Young Dealers & Financial Dealers
• Develop, propose & implements the annual Network training plan in a way consistent with the Africa training policy and within the approved annual budget.
• Ensure Top Service program animation to achieve a minimum score of 90% in all benchmarks and ensure corrective actions according to the findings where improvement is necessary.
• Implement the SIS project roll out.

Candidate profile

• Bachelor’s degree in any related field
• Extensive experience in Retail, sales & Marketing
• Good negotiation & communication skills
• Result & customer oriented
• Analytical skills and can work well under pressure
• High level of communication and interpersonal skills
• Good knowledge of accounting and Spread sheets
• Working knowledge of some local languages is an added advantage.
