Job Details:
Planning Activity;
• Participate in the establishment of integrated planning for Uganda process, governance and Primavera tool - in coordination with IPG Planning
• Develop, in coordination with the affiliate entities, the planning of in-country activities such as ES1A, RAP, Geo-surveys, Commercial.
• Collate data from JVP and other third parties (UNRA, ERA) to develop a good understanding of the planning of Kingfisher and infrastructure developments (roads, electrical infrastructures...).
• In coordination with IPG/planning, analyse the overall integrated planning to convey a clear understanding of clashes and Project Critical path. Highlight changes to original plans and if required, suggest corrective measures. Relay messages to management to support decision making.
• Assist if required. in the preparation of the long-term plan or budget of the subsidiary through planning and technical data consolidation.
Development Activity.
• Coordinate the power generation and export licensing project - with the support of Commercial and IPG entities. Ensure that the roadmap is well understood and followed with technical and commercial teams, partners, and government agencies. Supervise the consultant.
• Coordinate the water abstraction permitting project - with the support of IPG entities and use input from the technical studies. Ensure that the roadmap is well understood and followed with technical and commercial teams, partners, and government agencies.
• Participate in technical development studies, in coordination with IPG teams: Prepare or review Scope of work, act as technical duet for contractual aspects with local contractors. Follow budget and technical progression. Coordinate with IPG and other affiliate entities the analysis of results of studies.
Joint Venture’ Activity
• Participate and provide technical input in meetings with Partners and /or authorities. (1PM, TCM).
• Present, when required the development activities of the subsidiary or IPG to the JVP or authorities. Monitor the technical activities of the partners, and interface with IPG to improve whenever possible planning. synergies, interfaces and standards.
• Ensure head office benefits from feedback of non-operated developments (quantified description, planning, costs, innovative, content standardization efforts)
