Job Details:
Job Purpose: To execute day to day energy meters technical activities including meter testing, programming,
installation,
commissioning and field audit as per the set procedures and policy guidelines
Key Result Areas:
• Acceptance testing of new energy meters. Test and Program recovered meters from the field. Programming of new and in-service single-phase, three phase, KVA-LV and HT meters as per testing plan and procedures. Make technical test reports for meter tests carried out in the workshop and in the field. Avail meter test lab results to the Legal directorate as and when required. Ensure all meter
• testing activities are conducted in a safe environment. Use adopted standards and specifications and in liaison with the supervisor. Install and commission HT meter installations and associated accessories for bulk supply points and customer installations in addition to regular and adhoc auditing thereof & others.
Qualification/s, desired skills, attributes & experience:
• Minimum of an Ordinary Diploma in Electrical Engineering (ODEE), At least one (1) year's post qualification in the electrical Engineering field. Ability to work confidently with MS Office packages. Strong interpersonal skills, Excellent Communication (oral and written) Skills, Integrity, Tight personal organization and processes control abilities, Team work and strategic business understanding.
• Ability to drive both Manual and Auto vehicles etc.
