Job Details:

Africa Broadcasting Uganda Limited (ABUL), a Nation Media Group company, operating NTV and SPARK TV seeks to recruit talented and qualified individuals to fill the vacancy below.
Job Title: Retained Brand Executive-1 POSITION
Reports to: Brand Manager
Department: Marketing

JOB PURPOSE:
To support the daily implementation of plans as per agreed brand/marketing strategy in a timely manner to achieve set objectives.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Steward the ABUL brand to support brand promise, brand position and achieves overall business goals for the brand.
2. Conduct extensive market research and analyze studies of consumer behavior and market share relative to competitor products.
3. Engages, inspires and galvanizes the organization around the brand vision, position and strategies so they are clear in bringing them to life in their areas of functional expertise.
4. Works collaboratively with marketing activation to execute packaging designs consistent with the brand.
5. Analyzes consumer trends, information and categories to help identify product categories to enter as future sources of growth.
6. Determine gaps in the market and seeks ways to fill them with the information derived from research.
7. Supports implementation of all ABUL brand plans.
8. Develop, implement and monitor media schedules for brand activities for internal and external media.
9. Develop and maintain database for suppliers, agents, vendors, advertisers and readers.
10. Support new product launches.
11. Implement promotional activities and campaigns. Merchandizing management for all ABL and BTL medium.
12. Generate revenue from partnerships.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
Academic: University Degree in Marketing or any business related field from an accredited institution.
Professional: Diploma in Professional Marketing is an added advantage.
Experience: At least 1-2 years of experience in brands and communication or any related field.
